In other to have a smooth experience, it is important to know how to use the APk or Apk MOD file once you have downloaded it on your device. APK files are the raw files of an Android app similar to how .exe is for Windows. The APK means Android Package Kit (APK for short). It is the package file format used by the Android operating system for distribution and installation of mobile apps.
In 4 Simple Steps, I will show you how to use Fitbit.apk on your Phone once you are done downloading it.

You can do this right now, by using any of our download mirrors below. Its 99% guaranteed to work. If you download the apk on a computer, make sure to move it to your android device.

Step 2: Allow Third Party apps on your device.

To install the Fitbit.apk, you must make sure that third party apps are currently enabled as an installation source. Just Go to Menu > Settings > Security > and check Unknown Sources to allow your phone to install apps from sources other than the Google Play Store.
On Android 8.0 Oreo, rather than check a global setting to allow installation from unknown sources, you will be prompted to allow your browser or file manager to install APKs the first time you attempt to do so.

Step 3: Goto Your File manager or browser location

You will now need to locate the Fitbit.apk file you just downloaded.
If you prefer, you can also download a file manager app here so you can easily find files on your Android device.

  • Third Fitbit charge

    By Cmsherry
I’ve been an avid Fitbit user since the first charge came out, but now that I’ve gone through three bands, and am having syncing issues, I’m reconsidering giving this company any more money. I love it when it works, but, like so many 21st century gadgets, it works when it’s the latest model, then becomes obsolete 6 months later. I use it for my own personal tracking and for a watch, but that’s about all it’s good for any more. I’m going to buy a regular watch and keep my phone in my back pocket to track my steps once this tracker dies. Save yourself the trouble and spend your money on something else Edited after contacting customer support and getting a warranty replacement for my Fitbit charge 3 that wouldn’t sync to any device. The brand new charge 3 will not connect to anything, including my husband’s phone that is newer than mine, and freshly updated. I have done the hard reset of all phones, all Fitbit devices, and have followed all instructions that come with troubleshooting the charge 3 and have had the same result. I stand by my stance on saving your money and getting something else. If Fitbit doesn’t go bankrupt or owe a lot of people money in a class action lawsuit in the next year or so, I’ll be totally surprised
  • Downhill with every update

    By frivolousgravity
While the updates may be “fixing bugs,” the Fitbit app used to have a fun colorful design tailored toward making users excited to exercise. Now the dull interface has ads and is focused on pushing the premium version of the app and other experimental revenue streams Fitbit wants your eyeballs to see. It’s a shame, because I used to check the app all the time. It was a good motivational tool. Now I can’t stand it.
  • Fix notifications with IPhone

    By Sharky Meeehh
Been without notifications on Fitbit for a while. Fix it or I move to another platform/watch.
  • Review deleted 😒

    By Bit3Me69
I left a review yesterday and it’s gone. So, it’s ok with Apple that developers remove bad reviews??
  • Liked it before but not anymore

    By HMM bride
I’ve had my charge 3 for over a year and now notifications aren’t working. I’ve seen “we are working on this problem” for months and 2 updates later and nothing. I do not want to show text previews on my phone for it to work. I didn’t have to for the past year, why now? Please put it back the way it was ASAP.
  • Bring back the old app interface

    By Ehoitt
I love this app. It’s my favorite calorie counting/fitness app. My Fitbit doesn’t even work anymore but I still use the app. However, I hate the new app interface. I like the old one with the big graphs on the front page of the app. I loved clicking to the app to see how my graphs were filling up as I logged my exercise/food/water or whatever. Now the interface is less engaging. I’m less likely to click to the app to see how I’m doing. Please bring the old interface back!
  • Still no text messages

    By Cassie Daniels
I’ve been trying to wait patiently for new updates to fix the no text message issue. I’ve restarted and updated my Fitbit continually. Looking into Apple Watches now. I love my Fitbit but this is annoying. Please fix it!

Let’s get some new clock faces! Yay!!!
  • Premium tab? Seriously? Why?

    By Jaime Wilyard
So now they have added a tab just for premium. That is what you call an improvement? I have no interest at all in trying or buying premium at all so how do I hide the tab? I don’t want to see a tab just to advertise a service I never plan on using, but knowing Fitbit there is no way to hide the tab and they are just doing this to coax people into buying their premium service, well it’s not coaxing me it’s annoying me. Get rid of it or give us an option to turn it off because some people don’t like advertisements thrown in their faces. Edit: Stupid “Response” from the developer. What part of I have no interest in premium do you not understand? I don’t want it nor do I care about it. Remove the stupid premium tab from the dashboard. I am fully aware that no features were taken away and I don’t know if you misread, but I said get rid of the premium tab. I don’t care about premium I care about the blatant advertising tab on my dashboard.
  • Not compatible with iOS 13

    By KathyB-underdasea
Another update: And it still is not working. Are you still trying to patch the issue with text message notifications? This was my favorite feature about about my Charge 2 and you are no longer offering advice on how to repair. I have removed and reloaded the app and followed all of the previous suggestions to sync my Fitbit to my Apple phone. Please inform. Update: still not working. Glad you’re reworking a format that didn’t really need reworked, but could you please work on resolving the sync issue please? Charge 2 - I realize you’re working on it, but just wanted you to know that I was able to sync it yesterday afternoon after several attempts for the last few days. When I woke up this morning, it wasn’t syncing again and I can’t get it to no matter how many times I follow the steps posted. Please hurry.
