MacroFactor for Android

I’ve tried just about every macro/diet tracking app there is, and MacroFactor blows them all away. Can you get most of the core functionality in a free or cheaper app? Perhaps. But when it comes to building a tracking habit that sticks, usability, accuracy, and speed really matters. The barcode scanner is flawless, matching the nutritional info on the pack every time. The generic food database is orderly. Find what you need in moments, without the chaos of most other apps. The custom food/recipe builder is simple and quick, and unit conversions for weighing out portions is easy. The weekly macro adjustments take much of the guesswork out of nutrition planning, and helps get you to your goals on the timeline you choose. The easier it is to track, the more you will. The more you do, the healthier you’ll become. I’m happy to pay more for an app that will work for me, than less for one that won’t.

I’m one day of trial and already annoyed w how to navigate the app. I can’t even figure out where to enter in my workouts. I don’t wear my Google Watch all day and in my F45 workouts so it’s worthless to attach that to this app. I’m ready to cancel my trial after less than 24 hours. If something is that hard to navigate when you get on it it’s not worth it to me. I’ll find another macro app to utilize.

Makes the whole dieting thing so much easier, scanning barcodes and you can use stuff other people have put in too. Amazing
