Great app for all levels
Been using this for a year now and it’s been a great year. Worth every penny to keep track of all your gains and reps. #fitbodsummer
Doesn’t pair with Series 2 Google Watch. The ability to use on my watch was one of the main criteria for selecting this app. It’s not the developers fault Google won’t support OS updates for a perfectly functioning watch but super frustrating to not have the watch requirements more visible in the App Store.
The developer asked me to update my review. Not until you fix the thought process that led to having ads in an all that you pay a subscription for. I’ve been using the app for 3 years and even though every update the app gets worse and worse, it still does the basic function of recording workouts. It’s difficult to search for exercises, the development team won’t add common machine equipment. The app doesn’t develop workouts based off input or muscle recovery, although it’s supposed to be a function. Customer service treats you like a car dealership after your warranty runs out. No help and condescending. I enjoy the app with all its bugs, but having pop-up ads is absurd.
I’ve been using Fitbod since 2018 or 2019, and have been paying for it the entire time. These past few sessions I’ve opened the app, there have been in-app advertisements. Granted, the ads are for Fitbod promos but they are still in an application that I pay for. I pay a premium to not see any kind of ad. If the revenue model is such that the app cannot be sustained without in-app advertisements, then the pricing model needs to be looked at. If this is a bug or if it’s rolled back then I will give Fitbod the benefit of the doubt. In the meantime, I’m super bummed that this has happened. Otherwise, the app is great. Does what it says on the tin.
