Stopped working for me, giving me an "error" rather than my IP, in the tool bar and everywhere else in the app... I rebooted my Android, but no help..... When I search "what's my IP" google comes up with it immediately... I'll change this rating if/when it gets updated and fixed...
It appears you can now add a machine name in the email set up so you know which device is sending the alert.
Like other reviews, I must mention that the email template doesn’t actually save when one hits the Save button. Since I would like to use this app in two locations, this is a deal breaker: I can’t distinguish the messages from either location. Which IP changed? No idea.
Loved this product until it stopped saving changes made to the email body. You enter your text, like the name of the location etc…, and click save and it ignores thoses changes and you end up with an email with just the boilerplate text that comes with it. Tried contacting the author but to no avail as of this review.
Works great, two suggestions. Allow the dock icon to be hidden and when the external IP changes have it notify you in the status bar some how, maybe but a line through the IP till you acknowledge it.
