I bought a new Android but I couldn't carry over my previous password manager for free. I also didn't want to pay a monthly subscription just to store my passwords locally on my computer. I tried a few reputable ones until I settled on this one and it does it's job. It's very simple and the search function is good. The price is reasonable. It would be nice if this had a section for storing passwords and information that isn't website specific (not a big deal since I can just create a new one and leave it blank). Also, the icon feature to link to the url doesn't work.
This is easy enough to use. In this world where we need myriad passwords, this is great.
I downloaded this and added all my passwords. I like the simple interface and the way the info panel works for notes, etc. Had an issue after restarting my system and the app would not launch. Wrote into support and they provided a quick solution that worked and all is good. Not every app will work flawlessly depending on your system config, so having good support makes all the difference.
I like the simplicity of for entries and viewing. Used Web Confidential for long time until there were no more updates or an app designed for the Android or Mobile. This app is very similar which made the transition smooth. The sync feature between devices is great!
A good way to improve this is to put clear setup instructions right on the forms you use to fill out the initial name and password. It’s confusing about setting it up with a username and password locally, and then again on the cloud, and then again on the other devices. Once I found my way to the instructions online I finally figured it out, and this does work far better than the one I had been using (DataVault, which quit syncing on me for no good reason — and which cost a lot more money than this one did). Another improvement would be to add the ability to keep other types of sensative information - that’s one thing DataVault has that this one doesn’t. Something that this app did very well was import all my passwords, and so between that and the way it does sync without problems has earned 4 stars from me. Had the initial set up been easier it would have been a full five stars.
