Librarian Pro for Android

This works extremely well for my home library. I have not experienced any of the technical issues (crashing, long load times, search issues, etc) that were mentioned in other reviews. It should be noted that I use a relatively limited number of features, cataloguing each book in my collection with title, author, ISBN, copyright year, date last read, and a self-assigned stock number. (I add notes to some books, particularly those signed or those with family history to record.) This works well for my purposes.

Librarian fixed the opening crash but now it won’t quickly search the web for new items, the wheel just spins and spins, saving a new book takes about 5 minutes, which means adding new books is arduous to the extreme. Every time they seem to fix the program a new issue pops up which makes me question even using the program. It used to work better, and I still have faith that koingo can get it together and make this app worthwhile again

Afte using Librarian Pro for over a year, it has now just stopped working. It will not open on my Mobile or my Android as it has in the past. I vae attempted to reboot my devices, open the files from the saved files, open directly from tha APP, reinstall the app on all devices and nothing works. This is ove a year of cataloguing that is now wasted..No warnings, no support and no good. FRUSTRATED I gave it one Star because it cannot be opened.

After having spent a month at my computer entering items into Librarian Pro 3 the program simply stopped working. I have tried opening the app from the data base files, from the dock (Android-OSX 10.11.8) from the applications folder. Nothing worked. This morning I re-installed the program from the App Store - that failed also. My computer is working fine in all other respects. I have also contacted twice contacted customer support for this product. Aside from whining comments about Google’s stringent rules for listing an App and the fact that I should be patient since this is a one man operation, i apparently am supposed to dig through FAQ and waste more of my time. I am not particularly irritated by the loss of $30.oo but the wasted effort in cataloguing items which I shall have to do again has prompted this review. Oh, yes, I also contacted Google Support, they said that Library Pro 3, was a third party item and that there was little (nothing) they could do. I reccommend not buying this product.

I have tried many Library aplication's for the PC and the Android, I’ve settled with this one. I can add about 12 items to the library and then I must save the file. Seems like if I go beyond 12 item the program always errors out, If the machine goes to sleep it will error out and you will loose your most recent entry’s Thats thw worst of it. Ive been a data base develper for many years and usually once ones enter data into a field it is written to the file. as you move the next field. Somehow this application does not commit your changes until you save your file. My data base is large now over 500 items and I have over 4000 more to enter. The application is getting slower and slower. I will review again when I get finished.
