After years of not maintaining the app, the recent upgrade was a welcome change. The flaws were long overdue to be fixed. Mostly reliable now for me, and the paid upgrade is worthwhile for a trustable vault not plastered with tiresome ads.
As previous reviews stated. Do not update to DG v2 and Android v4 unless you are willing to pay $10. There is no turning back. You will not be able to sync and save more then 10 records. Remember, developer deliberately did hide info about it.
I have used Data Guardian for years on my Macs. Paid to upgrade, told everyone how elated I am with it, etc. Then the IOS app came out. It was great - kept me from having to run back to my laptop to get passwords. There were a few glitches in the app over the years, but nothing to write home about. Now that my Data Guardian Android app has been upgraded to version 4, mobile synching to my Mobile has made the IOS app justy about useless ---- unless I upgrade it to PRO? Maybe $9.99 would be worth getting back my data - "almost" like ransomw-ware. BUT TO SNEAK IT IN ON US IS INEXCUSABLE! Not even a clue on the Koingo website OR the iTunes App Store. If I update my IOS Data Guardian app to PRO, will it work? We shall see.
FIX IT. How hard can it be?!?!?
