Quick and easy visa application. Get approved within day. Make sure to submitted everything required and check that everything is correct before submitting.
There are no options to fill in as an expat. It forces us to show choose departure date even if we don’t have one. It also says we are on tourist visa when choosing ordinary visa instead of showing an oridinary visa and living here long term. Also makes us choose a hotel, when we live there in our own home. App always crashes and I have to download every time I enter cambodia instead of having one app that saves my data. Why does it give us a tourist visa QR with a departure date? The app simply doesn’t work well and none of this makes sense for expats that live in the country long term. How has no one thought about this?
I originally planned to fly to Cambodia but my flight was canceled. Lao Airlines instead put us on a van and the (useless) staff told us we to complete our e-visa here before crossing the border. At Cambodian immigration, they refused to accept this e-arrival visa saying it was only valid for air arrivals. Complete waste of $36 USD. The app itself works quick and easy. Only improvement is to add message notifications. If you miss something on the application, they will message you in the app asking for additional documents but there are no notifications to let you know you received a message. I was lucky I noticed.
