If u need to use this app at night & can’t find street names due to poor lighting, and are unfamiliar w/ where u are, plus can’t tell which way is N, S, E, or W, this app only confounds the situation ….. it needs a “You Are Here” feature w/ real time location as u try to walk to where the bus or station is …. I had a horrible time trying to find bus route pick up point due to construction- caused route change. Signs posted at a couple stops were not helpful at all & I couldn’t get accurate route map using this app OR the actual metro website route map. In a city where Microsoft was founded, with Amazon world hdqtrs, & a giant Google office, why can’t the Metro app include a helpful “ You Are Here” feature for non- Seattlelites? Thanks
This was a great tool for the past few years until the past week. Multiple glitches stating no available busses. Then today, all stops and routes appear not to be working at all. Last update was a year ago?
Going from work to a mall worked okay. Used it with One Bus Away, which has real-time bus info. It might work fine for other people, but I need to cut my loses and go back to Google Maps to plan trips. I might have kept this app but for these reasons: - The app crashed about twice in one hour when I was fiddling with it a lot. - I spent way too much of my time fiddling trying to figure out how to create a Favorite. Wasn’t able to create one. That should have been easy. - I live about 500 ft from a bus stop; the app couldn’t find my address. I tried two ways: just typing my street address and picking it from my Contacts List. Nope, no dice.
As a regular rider of the bus: I need to see schedule for more than two stops per route. I need to see schedules for days other than today. With such basic functionality missing, little point in trying any other things it might do.
