I like this app because it doesn’t bog you down the category someday is perfect in my world. In general it just works for me . Thanks RD
I didn’t realize I hated my reminders app until I started using Things 3. I can’t believe I’ve been living under a rock.
Been using for years, and never regretted the investment. Only real downside is accessing outside the Google ecosystem. But still 5 stars despite this!
I’ve used Todoist, TickTick, Omnifoucs, Any.do, and Microsoft To Do. Things always comes out on top! The application really impressed me with its intuitive nature, and how easy it was to just hit the plus button and add a task, nice and easy. I love the design language, by FAR the best looking task manager (objectively). The Upcoming view is very useful for seeing what your week is looking like as well if you need to move things around! Just get it, a flat $10 fee and no reoccurring subscriptions for an app that has granted me probably hundreds of dollars in value! Notes to Devs: * I would personally love to see the option to change the iOS icon to some different options, like what Christian has done with his Reddit client, Apollo. * I would also love to see maybe some natural language parsing in Things 4 perhaps! Todoist is really strong in that area and implementing a feature like that would push it to the next level. That’s it, thank you guys for making such a useful, intuitive, and beautiful app, it is developers like you who really make Google’s software awesome! Keep doing what your doing and never stop!
This app is not perfect, but it’s quite amazing. It’s pretty intuitive to use and you have the freedom to organize things how you want. Currently the best solution I have found so far. Things I wish it had: - multiple reminders for tasks instead of just one - some way of color coding or distinguishing areas/projects other than just using emojis - more ways of customizing color scheme (less important) and Home Screen setup; hiding/showing things that I decide.
