Coursera: Grow your career for Android

I keep having to sign out and re-login evertime otherwise I get an error message and my courses won’t load or sync. Some courses in the search also point to the wrong course once clicked. Love the service but I wish these issues are solved soon.

Great service, decent implementation. Some aspects can be a little buggy, such as in-video quizzes in mobile. After submitting, the quiz pops up again, but won’t submit a second time. Sometimes, it keeps popping up every time I close it.

Wish Coursera could hire some good developers to fix long existing issues with the app. There must be hundreds, but the top ones that destroy the learning experience is videos not automatically playing (just keeps loading after one video ends) , in- video quizzes same questions appearing again and again after submitting, alignment issues with content. I am paying $300 every year as are so many other people, Please please fix these simple issues.

The fact that i couldn’t utilize Coursera to it’s fullest potential on my Mobile Pro was dissapointing. There are sections where you cannot proceed without using a desktop browser apparently. Which is sad because I like using Coursera on the go, and i shouldn’t have to be tethered to my desktop or buy a laptop to make progress on my goals.

As someone who uses Coursera daily as part of an online degree program, I am intimately aware of its positives and negatives. There are many features of the Coursera that are only available by using a computer and browser versus the app, including the inability to complete quizzes and tests, view feedback on assignments, download/upload and submit assignments. The way videos and transcripts show up in the window is nonsensical - two tiny strips of vertical windows instead of the video on top with the transcript below. It is incredibly frustrating when trying to complete work on the go that I can only get part way there and then have to double back to complete the rest when I am in front of a computer.
