Coursera para Android

I have a paid subscription to Coursera so I can get the certificates but I'm not sure if I'll bother to renew it next time. The idea of learning online and at your own pace sounds great in theory but sucks in practice - give me a classroom with real people any day! Add to that Coursera's software is quite flaky - lots of things don't work very well in the apps e.g. doing some of the quizzes and reviewing the answers. The browser version is better but the menus can be rubbish. And some of the materials are out of date - I've just done a Java programming course but it was based on Java 8 and applets - applets have been deprecated from Java and the latest versions of Eclipse don't support Java8 so I had to fiddle around with the Eclipse settings to get it to work. Yes, I learned from fixing those things but they're not in the course objectives. Update : there's too many things that don't work well in the app. At the moment it keeps telling me I'm using Coursera offline while I'm obviously connected to my home wifi. Very flaky software...

Coursera blocks some courses based on political preferences. Shame on you.

La aplicación se cierra cuando le doy a acceder con correo electrónico, no me deja acceder.

Aunque la aplicación sirve para seguir los videos de los cursos sin problemas, en esta versión me pide acceder a un ordenador para poder realizar los Test, lo que hace imposible completar los cursos directamente desde el Mobile

Muy bueno se aprende rápido y muy cómodo, y lo mejor buenos maestros.
