APK (Android Package Kit) files are the raw files of an Android app. Learn how to install ssh-proxy.apk file on your phone in 4 Simple Steps:
Yes. We provide some of the safest Apk download mirrors for getting the SSH Proxy apk.
This is a gem It creates a local proxy that can go through corporate SSL and SOCKS proxies and connect to an SSH server. Basically it's like a VPN proxy over SSH. The remote SSH server does not need any extra software to act a host proxy. Use it while away from home
I was looking for this kind of app that supports SOCKS as well as web traffics and this is exactly what I needed. Keep good working!
I’ve been used “SSH Tunnel Manager” before use this. “SSH Tunnel Manager” is only supports SOCKS but this app is supports HTTP(S) and SOCKS. Fantastic!!!
What this does: Establishes an SSH connection and (selectively or not, depending on how you’ve set it up) opens up a port on the local computer which to be a proxy — it sends traffic over the tunnel so that it appears to originate from that server. If you have stuff behind a corporate firewall, but you have a host you can SSH to that is reachable from outside the firewall that can see stuff inside the firewall, then this app can be used kind of like you would a VPN. What this app doesn’t do: It does NOT configure your network settings so that your computer USES that proxy server. You have to go into Network Settings, choose your interface, like Wi-Fi for instance, Advanced, Proxies, SOCKS, fill in 127.0.0.1 and the port you set up this app to use (1080 is the traditional SOCKS port but you could use whatever you want of course). You have to switch that off when you disconnect this app. I’d LOVE it if this app configured my computer to use the proxy when connected, and turned that off when it disconnects or exits. I wrote a shell script to do it instead. If it’s possible within the App Store rules to do this, it would easily be worth twice the price. If so, maybe make an “SSH Proxy Pro.”
This app is fantastic, super useful. To be honest I wasn’t sure what I was buying, I shot over a few questions and I got an email back from Yang with detail use cases. Great app, great support, highly reccommended.
