I love this app! It takes seconds to enter spending, it allows you to choose what categories to track. I’ve had a goal to see all 50 states, and have been using this app since 2018, taking 3-4 vacations a year. Using this app, I’ve been able to track where my money is going, determine if I’ve planned my budget well, etc.
I’ve used this app a few times. 1st time I used the free version and I liked how easy it was to implement my budget, spending and keeping it all categorized. However, since I do one major trip a year, when I went to look up the last trip to help with next budget, data was gone. I thought maybe the free version doesn’t keep data for long. So a special was offered and I purchased to have the full version. I went on two trips in the last 1.5yrs and have now started to plan my next. I got into the app today to look at previous spendings and the app first didn’t recognize that I have the full paid version. Then once I got that figured out, load and behold, ALL MY DATA IS GONE! At this point and with todays technology, I’ll just make my own spread sheet and keep my own data now. This is completely frustrating!
Have been using this app for years to track budget on trips. It was especially great for a 2 years backpacking trip! Only flaw is that it doesn’t automatically update the currency conversion. So if you forget to manually update, then you could potentially have very inaccurate budgeting.
I use it all the time while traveling including in foreign countries where the currency conversion is great! It would be cool if they have different to themes though other than the four they have now.
The pie chart is a great visual summary of expenses. It would be helpful to categorize expenses by day and list of all expenses in one view.
