Can I please get a refund? This didn’t even find 1 gig of space to clear up and I have 94 gigs of “other” in my start up disk storage that I have NO idea what it is and have spent days deleting files. I finally decided to pay for a service to help. This was not helpful! Absoulte waste of money. Just don’t. Shame on Google for even allowing this in their app store.
In order to make a decision on whether a “duplicate” should be deleted, I need to know the location. I have to copy the name of the file and use the Android search function to figure out where the duplication exists and what to delete. Not worth paying for.
I am not a computer techie person so I bought this app to help cleanup my startup disc which is dangerously low. The first scan was for “languages” I guess. Nothing really told me what it was scanning for. Anyway a long list of items come up and I see something about different languages. I only need english so I guess I thought it would delete all of the unnecesary other languages that’s taking up space. Well it can’t do that on any of the programs that my Android came with so I see absolutely no point in this app.
So far it has not removed one language resource. I am the only user it tells me to check files privilegies to access them. But it still will not remove the unneeded files. Out of 669.1 mb of unnecessary languages it removed only 13.8. Still tells me I don’t have the permissions to remove them.
Wonderful product, and does mostly what it is advertised to do. However, it doesn’t clean all the trash off. For example, old Open Office in-progress files. And, I expeced it to clean out the old iPhotos files once I migrated them to the new program—all 5 GB worth. I’m not a neophyte, so I know what to look for, but it would be nice if the program did it for you. It is still a 5 however.
