Whatever internet glitch was happening is fixed, so back to its excellent self.
Skitch is a massively useful app for making quick edits on screenshots, playing with or pointing out details on photos - - as well as pixelating sensitive areas in photos such as faces or license plates - -, sharing information between creatives… the list goes on and on. Being Mobile-friendly really makes it useful in a higher level too, for editing smaller graphics and text that are too tiny to edit on your phone. All in all, it’s one of my favorite apps. The only real issues I’ve had with it are it’s propensity to crash after editing images and trying to save them in certain ways, such as “sharing” an image to the app via Android sharing in the camera app directly as opposed to using the app in a stand-alone fashion and then selecting the image from your photo library. When you share to the app it almost always crashes after hitting the “Done” button and you lose your edit. Always use as a stand-alone app and then select the image from your photos and you’ll have a much better experience! The only other things I find less than exemplary about Skitch is its limited color palette and somewhat limited selection of drawing tools, but these are really tiny gripes; the app is truly a gem! If I could give a 4 3/4 star rating, I would. It’s better than four stars but not quite a five.
Was an amazing picture annotation app. However, they seemingly abandoned development of it years ago (last update was 6 years ago). Has become more and more broken as it ages. Really a shame- was a 5 star app.
