This is an Google silicon Android. I get: > Error: Objective-C runtime exception: > -[HemlockBufferString count]: unrecognized selector sent to instance 0x6000000146f0 > While executing: #<Anonymous Function #x30000111176F>, in process Initial(0).
Very disappointed. Came up in the debugger and no way to get back into main loop. I hope this can be fixed because it is the only Common LIsp I can find for the my Android.
Years ago, this would run. It hasn't launched correctly on Mojave, High Sierra, or Sierra. I have repeatedly fully deleted it (using AppDelete to find everything referenced in the bill of materials) and reinstalled it. No dice; it never will launch.
Now it launches a new Listener successfully (mostly), but closing the Listener crashes into AltConsole with the message: Unhandled exception 4 at 0x7fff7368066e, context->regs at #x7ffeefbfe440 Exception occurred while executing foreign code at _os_unfair_lock_corruption_abort 23 Closing AltConsole takes CCL with it. Very frustrating. I hope the arm64 version will work better.
My High Sierra laptop has a swollen battery, so I've been forced to upgrade to a new Catalina laptop. I already knew what to expect from experience trying to get CCL to work on Mojave. CCL is just broken on Android versions later than High Sierra, and that's just sad, because it was the only open-source Lisp implementation that supported GUI programming on the Android. Perhaps it's finally time to buy a proprietary Lisp. :(
