Learn for Android

I bought this app some years ago. I started using Pixelmator recently. I wanted to learn and therefore I opened this app. There is no video or audio. Nothing to show. I updated the app. Same result. Waste of money.

This app was jusg what I was looking for. I had used Photoshop years ago, but my skills are rusty. I downloaded this app and have gone through about half the lessons. The lessons provide varying levels of details on the Pixelmator functions. Some of the more useful ones get more time, others less useful are just noted in passing. The instructor’s voice is calm and soothing. I’ll be keeping this app around as a reference to turn to now and again. Well worth the price!

I have edited phots using basic photo editing tools over the years. Now I want to step up and start creating some more dramtic edits for published materials as well as draw some unique designs. The number of options in an editing tool such as Pixelmator is daunting to a newbie like me. This video series is easy to watch and covers an amazing amount of material. A week of watching a few videos each evening and I am ready to start! The video table of contents makes it super-easy to go back and watch a 3-4 minute refresher for specific tools I am using. Perfect, Thanks!

I am a real novice and after reading some of the earlier reviews I was skeptical. But after using it I have only good things to say. The guy did a great job, it’s perfect for beginners, priced fair, he explains his lessons clearly and I can do more with Pixelmator as a result of these lessons than I ever knew was possible. I have this tutorial and Pixelmator both open during a lesson. I stop in the middle of a lesson and try the tools in Pixelmator and then come back and move ahead with the lesson. I go back and replay a lesson when I’ve forgotten something or when I want to be more proficient with some of the tools. I don’t know one version from the rest, I bought the one that was available at the time, but I think I have the latest version and it is a teriffic learning tool for me that works without any problems. The guy deserves 5 stars.

I have used this app in the past with no problems and the other apps I have from this company work fine, Not sure why all of a sudden it won't even open but my big gripe is no email response to the problem after several atemps to contact someone. After reviewing some of the other reviews the info on compatibility is incorrect. It will not work on Android OS 10.7 or older others have complained about this and complained that contacting support is a waste of time. Very disappointing seeing that the courses are about Android apps and the author is unable to resolve these problems or cares about support.
