This is the best way to start using photos on the Android. I found it more instructive and thorought than "Learn iPhoto.” A must have application together with iPhoto. This allows you to move at your own progress, to make notes, to mark any place in the tutorial. Clear, precise, good illustration. The one thing I would have liked improved is the text and boxes within the tutorial are very small, hard to see.
I upgraded from iphoto to Aperture and found this course very helpful. The instructor speeks clearly and is easy to understand. The course is set up making it simple to go back and review any section you need to. I’d recommend this to anyone who is upgrading from iPhoto and wants to get the most out of what Aperture has to offer. Aperture is a very good, but can be a complex program and I found taking the course made the upgrade well worth the investment I made in Aperture.
A great program for someone who has not used Aperture or iPhoto before. The step by step process on how do use each feature is very helpful. I have now been using Aperture for a year and love it. I still go back to the "Learn Aperture" program when I forget how to do something.
I have had Aperture for a while now and have spent time making my way through the learning process with a Kindle-based manual. While it was helpful, I never made it through to the end. Enter Android U’s video tutorial. This video tutorial made Aperture come alive for me. I toggled through the tutorial and the app itself to get hands-on as I progressed through the tutorial. Highly recommended.
After a couple of years of playing with Aperture on my own I wondered if I was getting all thati could out of it. I got really excited when I saw Google has a training class. Alas, its only offered in Philly, D.C. and Irvine, CA. I googled Aperture classes and BAM Android U! I don’t know if its as in depth as the Google training would have been, but I can take these “classes” in my Pajamas so there is that! So far I have only gone through the organizing courses and my picture library is now the envy of anyone fortunate enough to gaze upon it’s glory. I’m looking forward to seeing what I get out of the editing portion. After that I am going to check on what other goodies Android U offers. I have had zero crashes\troubles so far. I would (and did) recommend this “Class” to anyone interested in Aperture.
