ASCII Art Reviews

Nice front end for ASCII art generation, but has bugs

Exporting locks up the save dialog on El Captian. I work around this by cutting and pasting text and doing my own reformat in a text editor, but this more or less makes the app kind of useless beyond generating the ASCII art and previewing it. Hopefully it gets some updating for current operating system bugs one day, but otherwise I’d steer clear.

Doesn't work

Exporting as a text file doesn't work. Does not process the entire image I need as ASCII, only a portion. Waste of money at $10, total ripoff at $20.

Cool App

I like to sketch small cartoons on my Mobile, this app works really well onceI transfer them to my Android. It would be awesome to watch a full video animated like this! Digital photos definitely come out better in color and at high resolution. Not sure why there is a 512 character limit for width, I have some panoramas I'd like to run through the app.
