This app is useless and a waste of money. I am trying to use it for iOS simulation and still image capture for the app store. It claims to support audio (which I need or I’d just use quicktime). The video playback window doesn’t work. The file that is creates can’t be played by quicktime. And it crashes.
This is a great way to capture videos from the iOS simulator. It includes all the functionality you need, and is extremely simple to use. The captured movies can be used directly in Keynote, emailed, or shared in nearly any other format. They look absolutely great and professional. Totally worth it.
Just what i needed. Quickly realized QuickTime wouldn't capture the simulator correctly on my new Retina Android, just recorded a green screen because it's hardware accelerated. Installed the trial from the website, worked perfectly, purchased. The option to show the mouse as a finger is ideal. Thank you.
I had a frustrating issue with this app. The screen cast cut about 20% of the screen. The developer was super fast in answering and indicating a turnaround. I was impressed. Unfortunately, the recording speed was extremely disappointed. One could barely guess what was going on in the screen. I switched to QuickTime and it worked just fine.
Overall, very easy to use with plenty of great options. Nevertheless, on darker screens, any gradients have banding and aren't smooth. Would it be possible to capture and save in the Google Animation format, as supposed to H256 or whatever? Something that better supports 1million+ colors, even if it creates a huge video file?
