If you want to self monitor your system, do NOT buy Xfinity cameras. My system will not connect to the Internet will not even update the time because I'm not running service through Xfinity. We chose to monitor our own cameras and the system will not work. The APP is requiring an update. However, my Mobile has the latest version which is not high enough to support the app. I can no longer use the app on my Mobile. The app updates need to be written so that they run on older iOS's. I should not be forced to buy a new Mobile when there's nothing wrong with mine just to run simple apps.

I’ve had these cameras for awhile now an I love them, but the only thing is that at night I can’t see anything when it get’s dark it is very vague. Motion lights is a must to get a clear view of all your perimeter areas. The night Vison on these are very dark.

So I have to turn off WiFi to log in …. from my own home.

After the last update, the app doesn’t open quickly. It used to log me in immediately. Now, it just sits and thinks about it. I’ve had to wait minutes for the three dots to go away. But, if I close the app and reopen, it connects automatically. This is quite inconvenient.
