    things about AnkiMobile Flashcards

Anki by Ankitects Pty Ltd has a rating of 4 stars on Baixarapk and has been rated by over 1,285 people. The latest version of Anki is version 2.0.87 and it was last updated 1 year ago. AnkiMobile is a mobile companion to Anki, a powerful, intelligent flashcard program that is free, multi-platform, and open-source. Sales of this app support the development of both the computer and mobile version, which is why the app is priced as a computer application. AnkiMobile was written by the lead developer of Anki and AnkiWeb, and it has been around since 2010. Beware other apps using "Anki" in their name that have sprung up recently - they are not compatible with the rest of the Anki ecosystem, and they offer far fewer features. Some of AnkiMobile's features include: - A free cloud synchronization service that lets you keep your card content synchronized across multiple mobile and computer devices. This makes it easy to add content on a computer and then study it on your mobile, easily keep your study progress current between an Android and Mobile, and so on. - The same proven scheduling algorithm that the computer version of Anki uses, which reminds you of material as you're about to forget it. - A flexible interface designed for smooth and efficient study. You can set up AnkiMobile to perform different actions when you tap or swipe on various parts of the screen, and control which actions appear on the tool buttons. - Comprehensive graphs and statistics about your studies. - Support for large card decks - even 100,000+ cards. - If your cards use images or audio clips, the media is stored on your device, so you can study without an internet connection. - A powerful search facility that allows you to find cards that match criteria such as 'tagged high priority, answered in the last ten days and not containing the following words', and automatically place them into a deck to study. - Support for displaying mathematical equations with MathJax, and rendering LaTeX created with the computer version. - Support for adding images drawn with the Google Pencil to your cards. Please note that AnkiMobile is currently intended as a companion to the computer version of Anki, rather than a complete replacement for it. While AnkiMobile is able to display and schedule your cards in the same way the computer version does, certain changes like modifying note types need to be done with the computer software. Add-ons are not supported, so while you can study image occlusion cards created with the computer version, they can not be created within AnkiMobile. For this reason, please start with the computer version of Anki before you think about buying this app. The cloud synchronization service is optional, and data can also be imported/exported from the app via a USB cable or AirDrop. Like all apps, AnkiMobile can be purchased once and then used on multiple devices in a household using the same Google ID. Family sharing is also supported. For information on bulk discounts for educational institutions, please see Google's Volume Purchase Program. For more information on AnkiMobile, including a link to the online manual, please have a look at the support page: https://docs.ankimobile.net/support.html. If you have any questions or want to report an issue, please let us know on our support site and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.. Download the app at 13.77 MB now. AnkiMobile Flashcards Reviews

    • Despite my hesitation worth the price

Along with paid tutoring and free online resources I am using Anki to help learn Chinese. I have been using the desktop application since I started; about 9 months now. I have resisted purchasing the app for the longest time now due to the daunting price tag. However, lately I find myself more mobile with less time to sit down and dedicate a solid chunk of time to studying. So I finally took the plunge and made the purchase. I have only been using it for a few days so far but already I think it was a good purchase. First of all, I have relied heavily on the desktop application for a long time now and I don’t mind supporting the developers. Beyond that though, I think it is actually a good app. I have had no issues with synchronization, which is important to me because I still create cards on my computer. And syncing study progress from the phone to the computer has been fine as well. It ported my css layout and audio media files as well which was important. I haven’t experimented with all of the features yet but I saw they built in a scratchpad feature to let you practice your writing. I think that will be useful when I want to practice my writing (I need to get a stylus first). Overall I am satisfied with the app. Again, I do think the price seems a bit high, but it depends what you’re using this for whether the price justifies it. To me, I think this app has and will continue to speed up and strengthen my language learning and that makes it worth it.

    • Cards missing now?

Maybe there’s something I need to fix, but now all my decks are gone both here and on Ankiweb? Or maybe my account was deactivated for inactivity? I think I have an old backup & my goal was to start fresh but… this is not ok. “Full sync” one-way only with no indication before pressing that button is really bad design.

    • Pretty good

I love the anki ecosystem. For school this is a must if you have an Android or Mobile, along with a laptop to use the actual app. If you consistently use anki, get the app. I do wish however the scratchpad for when using an Mobile could be snapped to the left or right of the screen, instead of only the bottom. It would eliminate the need for using another app to draw while you study. Also some different colors would be cool but I can’t ask for too much. Although it is slower than drawing directly in the app. I think even implementing excali draw would be cool. Also since this app is so expensive, I feel like a dedicated suggestion setting somewhere in the menu would be cool so I don’t have to write a review to make a suggestion.

    • Annoyed

Ever since the new update for the app I have not been able to sync from my phone. It doesn’t let me download from my computer and the only option is to do a full sync to upload what’s on my phone and lose whatever I did on my computer. I did that once to se if it would fix the problem and it didn’t and is still wanting me to full sync every time. I tried redownloading the app and that didn’t work either.

    • Ultimate tool for memorization

Used over the years for so many languages. Well worth the $25 to support Anki The desktop app and web version are free so personally I bought the app after a few years having used it for free
