SNCF Connect for Android

Be careful of purchasing more tickets than you intend to purchase. If you do, you are likely to find no recourse either online or in person. Dispute with your credit card company of course, but it’s a hassle. Better if SNCF actually empowered employees to act on customers behalf. Next time, I’ll likely skip the app and revert to purchasing in person. The underlying issue is that the app is simply confusing…in any language.

Ux is awful.

Good: it works. Bad: Poor user interface and experience. For example, when I select a destination I should then automatically be asked for date and time, but no, I have to click first. And again when I select outbound date and time, I have to click inbound. Also, city-to-station mapping is poorly executed. For example, when I select PARIS to AIX-EN-PROVENCE, I am only suggested routes with stops in Marseille. I have to manually select “Aix-en-Provence TGV” to discover nonstop routes.

For over 3 months I have tried to establish an account in this app only to be told the confirming email was on its way - not - and not in spam. I get 3 to 4 updates a month (not a sign of a well thought out app) but still cannot connect to SNCF CONNECT.

Easy to understand. (English version). Easy to navigate and make reservation. Also extremely easy to make changes and get refunds.
