Very good customer service and support
I did a search of the KAYAK website specifically looking for pet friendly hotels. I booked a reservation and was never told until the moment I was checking in that I had to pay a $75 pet fee. I was told by the hotel that kayak should have disclosed this information to me upon making the reservation online. I had no choice but to pay the fee at the hotel. Very dishonest business practice. But kayak made their commission so they really don’t care.
Kayak, becomes a Ripoff?? I tried to book a VRBO price advertisement $127 a night, final total $1380 x 5 nights real price $276, more then 2x . Than I thought maybe it had to do with VRBO, got a really nice price at a Wyndham $204 nightly x 5 night, was supposed to get a 10% discount too, $183.60 actual final price almost $1800,( $300 a night ) these are Rip off adds. Kayak you are responsible for your advertising posts!! These happened in lake George region NY Sate 07-10-2022. My former experience with your site has been very good. Please fix this , it’s very sleazy!!

We were just scammed $2k by booking flights through Kayak. When selecting flights, we picked ones offered through “Snap Travel.” After booking the flights, we received no confirmation email, no booking information, nothing, yet we were charged $2k from some random account. Snap Travel claims to have no record of our booking. Cool.
