I have tried numerous times to try to load my passport and photos, it just doesn’t work complete waste of time

I have tried 50 times to add a drivers license. There’s obviously a bug in this. After I finally got the driver’s license added, it wouldn’t work at the TSA security at DFW.

This was so easy to setup, not sure what all the negative reviews are. If you have a official travel ID (newer drivers license or passport) with a clear photo and know how to take a clear selfie as instructed there are no issues. I am curious if it’s any better than Clear Biometric where there is never a line and you can jump to the front of TSAPre, time will tell.

I tried at least 500 + times the last 7 days. Scanned my DL and passport but when I tried to “Create my American Airlines Mobile ID “ the results are always the same. “An error occurred processing your request. There was an issue setting up your mobile ID. Please try again later.” I delete the app, reinstall the app but still the same c…. I was able to setup the Admirals Club but no luck with TSA. I also emailed app support, but so far I haven’t heard anything back from them. So, save your time and and don’t bother with this app.

I was, after considerable struggling, able to get this app to work. I don’t know how. My wife, on the other hand, spent the better part of an hour trying to get this balky piece of crap to work. Repeated assertions there was too much glare are ridiculous — there was NOWHERE in our hotel room where the app didn’t find “too much glare” while scanning her passport. 🤬 We have a few days before we need it, but I’d say: stay far, FAR away from this app. 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽
