About a year ago, my husband and I both signed up for NordPass as they were running some sort of summer time special. Throughout the months that we had NordPass for the last year, we ultimately decided that we were not satisfied with not only the security, but most definitely not the service and we haven’t used NordPass enough to make it worth the price in the first place. I made sure to cancel my recurring membership, and my husband made sure to switch his recurring membership to a month to month plan as he realized at the last minute that his subscription was about to expire. However, on what was supposed to be the last day of both of our subscriptions, we realized that not only had this company charged us both AGAIN when they weren’t authorized to, but they charged us BOTH for ANOTHER FULL YEAR SUBSCRIPTION. After I politely requested a refund, explaining the situation and the fact that not only do I not use NordPass anymore, but that my automatic renewal was cancelled a while ago, they promptly denied the refund (even though they weren’t authorized to charge the card and even though we contacted them THE EXACT SAME DAY to inform them of this). The first thing we woke up to this Monday morning was another $34.99 gone from our account (which was for my subscription), even though my husband only authorized a $4.99 charge. This confirms my suspicions that not only is this company and this service a joke, but they are immoral, unethical, do not care about their customers, and will charge your card not according to what you agreed to, but they will charge as THEY see fit. We will never, and I mean we will NEVER, EVER, support NordPass, NordVPN, or any of their other services at any point, EVER again, or before the world ends. We would highly suggest that you do not waste your time, money, or effort with this company and take your business elsewhere to a business that is actually worthy of their customers and will not fraudulently screw them over. We will be seeing you, Nord. You will not get away with stealing our money.
It’s been 8 month on NordPass for me and it is truly awful, you will spend every day entering your master password many multiples of times on your devices and on all of your spouses devices —despite having every setting on every app on Windows and iOS to never auto lock. Windows hello sign in rarely ever works, two factor authentication just adds another step. I’ve entered my master pass 6 times today between me and my wife’s computers and phones, just like yesterday. I loath this app.
Given the growing security concerns this is a great way to manage all of many passwords as an IT expert.
