Stellar Data Recovery for Android

THIS IS NOT WHAT I WANTED, I HAVE USED STELLAR AND THIS APP DOESNT ALLOW ME TO RECOVER FILES FROM MY HARD DRIVE. PLEASE REFUND MY MONEY. THIS IS RIDICULOUS

The description under the software is deceiving. It does not tell you explicitly that it does not recover directly from the drive. It only says it can recover from disk images at the bottom as a note that you have to write to them separately for the professional version. It DOES NOT STATE that this software ONLY works with DISK IMAGES SPECIFICALLY. ANd it does not state it explicitly in main description. In the primary description it says recover files from Android drives or external storage devices. Please refund my payment. I went ahead and bought another application called easeUS which works great.

I have used this software at work and for projects. I tried their free trial on their website and it worked fine. I then bought the version off the app store since I didn't want a subscription. The app store version is severly limited in use and wouldn't do a scan. It asked for a previous scan. I tried many different ways to use it, it didn't work so I bought the software directly thinking I could get this software refunded. Google would not refund me even though I told them this was not the correct software, it didn't function as promised and the company Stella authorized a refund. I don't know what new policies they have at the Google app store but it does not seem to be a reliable place to buy software any more. The data stella recovered had black lines in photos and much of the data was corrupted in docs and spreadsheets. It took nearly a day to scan a 3tb drive and when it reached 100% scan and moved into building a "tree" the program crashed which meant the scan had to restart. I resorted to doing a 98% scan and then stopping and recovering the data I could get. Overall, not a good experience. I would recommend a RAID enclosure or hardware solution over this software solution.

We had a brand new external drive fail due to corruption. We couldn’t get it to recover from Disk Utility, which said it could not repair the disk, so we were looking for something more powerful. We tried Stellar Data Recovery based on its large list of repair and recovery features, as well as technical reviews. One review had said "It can also be used to recover data from crashed or corrupted hard drives." It couldn’t even see our drive. Did not honor their refund guarantee. Software does not perform as claimed and company does not honor promises.

During the day where I need to install new os system for my Android, my external hard drive, which full of important files were somehow formatted/deleted during the system install. I was hoping to get it back by using the app. but it wasn't able to meet my satisfaction. I have to get refund for this.
