Doesn’t work in Tokyo
I checked the tutorial and searched online for other people’s experiences and it just doesn’t seem to work for me. It lists the free WiFi’s around me, but doesn’t connect automatically. Most of the time I just used the WiFi feature of my phone to connect, which means I still had to enter email address to register in order to use the networks.
Suggested two sites in 12 days and those just asked to create an account. Completely worthless.
Highly recommend for travelers. Very convenient app.
Perhaps I am merely a fool, however after completing setup it never successfully led me to signing on to local WiFi. Even if I manually clicked the WiFi in the system settings I still had to use the captive portal. I have no idea what utility this has other than finding WiFi spots that allow public users.
