I like this concept a lot, but it would be nice to be able to customize the format of the title and URL. Being able to separate title and URL by a colon instead of the dash, being able to put the title in quotations, etc. Again, great concept. Just give us some customization to copy links the way we want.
I just purchased the this app but it keeps crashing.
There are a few different utilities that let you save your collections of open Safari tabs, including the new Tab Groups built into Safari. Tabs to Links is both simpler and more flexible, letting you save rich text, plain text, or Markdown version of your tabs, for either the current window, or all windows. I use it to save lists of links that I can paste into either Notes or a Markdown document. It's a lot less fiddly than Tab Groups, and it's easy to edit the lists wherever you paste them. If Tab Groups work for you, you might not need this. But I find that Tab Groups change out from under me, when I open/close new tabs. Tabs to Links lets you freeze a moment in time, which is often what I _really_ want.
Basic. Copying the links is burdensome. You hae to select the link or links you want, select copy to clipboard in order to get what you want. You should be able to right click and copy a single tab or highlight the ones you want and right-click copy or be able to CMD-C.
As an academic researcher, I often have dozens of tabs open at the same time in Safari. In the past, curating these tab lists meant copying them one at a time to a record in Evernote. But this little gem gathers them all up, creates a clipboard pastable list, and allows me to paste all open tabs at once! The amount of time I will save makes this extension worth every, single, penny! Thank you!!
