I am so sick of reviews about the app's business model. Software development is not a one time job. It is a constant improvement and adaptation to changing needs and changes in all the underlying software platform. You have rlhyde talking nonsense about his stuff not being accessible if the company disappears, which is ignorant as you can export from Drafts very easily. Even the database it uses is just SQL. You are a freeloader? Use Google for everything. Drafts is a great application focused on the job it does.

Any subscription service must be rejected. If we purchase copies of the product and start using them on a firmwide basis, and ultimately create a large amount of work product, that work product will no longer be available to us if your company goes out of business or if your product is discontinued as the subscription will lapse and there will be no one to continue supporting it. With products that allow us to purchase them at least we know that we will always be able to access our work product and modify that product. In summary, by insisting that we subscribe to your product you are asking us to have faith in the idea that your product will be available in the future and that you will continue to remain in business. We simply cannot take that risk.

iCloud sync appears to be completely broken, despite multiple attempts to troubleshoot this issue using the instructions on the Drafts website. Of note, the unusually long Drafts page focused on troubleshooting iCloud syncing suggests a more fundamental flaw with the developer's implementation of the iCloud sync process, as numerous Android App Store apps implement iCloud syncing seemlessly and without a fuss.

This is the app I was looking for to deal with plain text on my Android. Perfect if you like to write down little thoughts as you go about your day. And for daily journal entries and such.
