Batch: Let’s Party for Android

For being someone who has never planned a bachelorette party, this app gave me so many tips and tricks and included a timeline. It was a great way to hype up the trip, create an itinerary, and set up polls to get everyone’s input. Highly recommend!

Great app in general, however the expense section is very un organized and not intuitive. Also is someone pays through Venmo, it would be nice if it checked it off paid? I think Splitwise has feature like that. No where to see summary of all expense for the entire trip.

My maid of honor was so happy when she found this app to help her plan my Bach weekend in NOLA. She is amazing and a total planner, and booked all of our excursions through the Bach App all the way back in March (my party was at the end of June). She got multiple confirmations on everything that suggested everything was planned, and she also paid for everything at the time of booking. Sarah booked 3 activities through the app and 2/3 were done improperly by the app. Firstly, we booked a booze cruise for 2pm. There are countless emails detailing 2pm and it even said so in the app. Literally the day before, they email us saying they are ready to see us the next day at 11am. This was incorrect, and didn’t work for us because we weren’t going to be in town by that time. They pretty much said “oh well sorry we messed up” and just left it at that. So no booze cruise for us despite it being booked and paid for since March. Sarah had to fight for a refund (despite it being their mistake), and we still haven’t received it. The next issue came 2 days later. We went about 30 minutes out of the city for a swamp tour. This was also booked in March. When we got there, they wouldn’t let us on the boat because they said they hadn't received payment. Mean while, WE PAID FOR EVERYTHING IN MARCH. It is beyond me how this Bach App service was unable to pay the vendor any time in the last 3 months. It seemed like they were just trying to take our money as they didn’t actually deliver on their advertised services. I will say, they were responsive when Sarah messaged them with the issue and ended up paying the vendor, but at that point there was really no redeeming this app as that should have been done literally any day before we were there. Even though it advertises itself as helping you plan a bachelorette party, it truly only causes problems and we would have been way better if we just went through each vendor directly rather than using this useless 3rd party app. Sarah is AMAZING, and worked tirelessly to find us other activities to do on my party, all of which were great, but it was really sad to see her so stressed and scrambling when we thought we could just have a fun and stress-free weekend. I do not recommend this app for anyone planning a bachelorette party.
