It really seems to help
Honestly i don’t really get it. It doesn’t help if anything it feels more like its saying “”youll make it through quit being a baby lol” i was expecting calming exercises because during a panic attack I usually dont even pay attention to words anyway. Other things in the app are alright but not the best app I’ve experienced Edit: i did mean to give it two that was my bad! Not much difference i guess but you guys have the right idea i just dont really like it though. I like the journal but id like more freedom in what i write. I do understand the purpose in the panic button and what each do im not saying its the worst idea but personally it doesnt help me. I think it could be a lot better especially compared to a lot of other apps. I really like how quick you are to respond to people aswell its always good to listen. Maybe its all a matter of opinion at the end of the day since so many people enjoy the app but personally it didnt help me. Hopefully this answers all the questions you may have. 😊
As a person who often uses her phone to attempt to distract from a panic attack, Rootd has filled a huge void in my personal coping strategy. The ability to hear affirmations in the thick of the experience is invaluable, and the exercises and education offered in the in between time is so helpful for keeping my anxiety at bay.
I understand that mobile games need to make money off their apps. However, you have to pay (only one option btw: yearly) in order to use the majority of the product. Once again mental health is being about making a profit. I really wanted something I could use to help anxiety, but coming from poverty and very low income I won’t even be able to have access to an app. Just disappointed.
This app works on my Mobile and is great for an anxious person like me! However I cannot get it to open on my Android, it always crashes immediately.
