I have tracked every ride since 2011 with b.icycle and that's now more than 27,500 miles. The app is easy to use, the maps look great, it is reliable (I gave up on other apps before this after the GPS connections proved unreliable) and when they added the Google Watch app it was even better. As long as the app stays updated for the Android and Google Watch I intend to use this for the next 27k+ miles. Highly recommend.
This app works fine with 11.3 IOS. Had to use a mount for large Android 8+ and desired an app that had only simple cyclometer functions, a la Cateye, plus a map. This allows you to eliminate cadence, HRM, etc from the display. Auto-pause is a function the other apps didn’t have.
I have used this cycling app for several years now. It does a really good job of presenting the necessary information while riding. I use a Android handlebar mount, and the app when not being displayed does not drain the battery (25% over 5 hours). Eben when the Android screen is dark it still calls out the mileage and average speed at each mile of the trip.I especially like the post ride features of sending me the report and the total trip counts and map overview. The map function has aslo improved through the years. The watch function I dont use as its difficult for me to raise the watch and see the data while riding. Its pricey at $10, but I feel its decent value for the money.
As others have noted, this app no longer works with recent IOS releases. Totally useless now since it won't acquire GPS.
Used to really like this app when I first got it but every year it gets worse. At first it posted a map of my route and all relevant stats from the ride. Last year it only posted the map. Now this year on my first ride it only posted an ad for itself. I'll be looking for a new app.
