I loved this app so much I got my whole office hooked on it and I now install it anytime I set up a new machine in the office. Very easy to set it and forget, or if you get bored of pictures quickly, you can easily just hit the refresh button in the menu bar and change it real fast. Side Note: The app isn't working on the Android OS Ventura Beta yet, but I expect this'll be fixed by the time the final version of Ventura comes around
Works well, makes it easy to skip, as well as view the photo direcely on the site.
It seems very limited that, only one collection is allowed to be added to the unspalsh wallpapers. I hope developers can change it and let us include as many collections as we want.
Unsplash has some gorgeous photography—blissfully free of borderline NSFW anime images...—and the app does the job of shuffling through them. The inability to log in to an Unplash account and favorite photos is actually refreshing, in a world where every company wants to metastasize into an advertising and social media platform. More sorely missed is a larger set of competencies pertaining to, you know, setting wallpapers: specifying minimum resolutions, selecting less bright images when in dark mode, auto-change frequencies higher than once a day, and multi-monitor options beyond "do something on all spaces" (although I blame Android itself for the shameful inability to have one image span multiple monitors.) Hey, Unsplash, simplicity is nice and all, but maybe just a few more toggles couldn't hurt? Thanks!
It seems to work as its supposed to, but clicking on "App Support" in the App Store doesn't bring you to any support for the Android App... just the Unsplash web site (at least, I couldn't find anything about the App). They also don't seem to respond to issues here. Two shortcomings: You can't specify a wallpaper update time more frequent than "Daily". More seriously, I can't find a way to give two different monitors different wallpapers from Unsplash.
