Two small complaints. One is that the app is the Android dock is too big. The other is having a better way to see more analytics, or "under the hood" data regarding what may be wrong.
Launching this app is now crashing my Android! Panicked task 0xffffff904b0239f0: 3 threads: pid 135: watchdogd It would very well be a Android os v12.6 issue. But still uninstalling.
I've relied on SpeedTest.net for longer than I can remember to help troubleshoot network issues and optimize connections, so I guess it was about time I downloaded the actual app. So far so good. While the app doesn't differ much from the web interface, I'm very excited about the possibility of having all of my tests saved automatically rather than as a pile of screenshots cluttering up my desktop. However, there is one BIG thing missing: notes. There are so many variables at play whenever I run a Speedtest - maybe I switched from 2.4Ghz wifi to 5Ghz, or moved the router to another room, or any number of other things. In the past I've just stuffed all that info into the filename of a screenshot, but with this app there's no way to add any context at all. Even just a few dozen characters per test would make this app infinitely more useful and vault it into 5-star territory.
This app is great to have, but its missing some major features. Specifically the ability to login to a Speedtest account on the application. I've looked through the support pages and I can't find an answer as to why the app doesnt' support this. (Also, they don't have a way to contact their support! How odd and short sighted.)
