Meets my primary requirement, great for the price

Using both Windows and OSX, Google’s GUI is about where the Window’s GUI was 20 years ago. This tool partially plugs one of the gaps, at least for creating a new text file. Do note that just right clicking on a folder isn’t enough, it is also necessary to then click on Services and choose New Text File.

Works for the most part - some limts

Mavericks doesn’t show the New Text File option unless you use the services menu, but you can just right click on the folder in the Path Bar if you have it enabled in the view menu to create text file. The services menu is much shorter and quick. Works as expected. I also didn’t get the preference window by clicking preferences, but it did pop up after creating the irst text file. Worked as expected otherwise. A good app overall.
