I've used Sandvox for several years and it did all I wanted. Unfortunately it is now developing glitches. Photo albums no longer upload correctly. I tried to contact support and they do not respond. I think they gave up and quit all support. I'm surprised that Google still offers this in the App Store.
I purchased Sandvox through the Google App Store and then realized that I was charged twice for one program... charged by Google and also charged by Karelia software. I have emailed and emailed through their website, no phone number to call, and have had no response from the Karelia to resolve this. Google tells me to contact them. So am leaving this review to 1) warn you that you need to watch for a double charge and 2) warn you that you will not ever have any help or response if you need to resolve something.
This program is way behind on updates! It is as if the developers have gone on an extended vacation and have forgotten their clients. It worked well one year ago, but as Google upgraded its OS this program fell into disarray. Very Sad.
We moved an iWeb family site to Sandvox and would like to keep updating the pages. The app shows its age, sadly, without some of the features a newer website needs. It was a good move from iWeb, years ago. Please try to update for those of us holding on to some old-fashioned websites.
I bought this a few years ago to replace iWeb, and it works reasonably well. It's certainly faster than iWeb became when my blogs became very large. A nit I have is that you can't change the theme of a blog on a page-by-page basis; maybe you have to create a whole new blog in order to change the theme. A big problem now is that it hasn't been updated for two years, as of the time I write this review, so it's no longer fully functional under Android Mojave. There are small bits of the GUI that don't work, e.g. the New button doesn't appear in the toolbar; instead, I have to Insert > New Page from the pull-down. There are other bits and pieces that are similarly nonfunctional. The developer is also non-responsive to e-mails. According to a post on the Sandvox Facebook page, the company changed ownership some time ago, so that's that.
