myAudi for Android

I can’t charge my car because the app doesn’t let me work the system. That means I can’t drive a car I bought brand new from Audi 4 months ago. This is beyond outrageous. What are they doing about it? Apparently nothing.

The app was bad anyway but the most recent update has disconnected me from my eTron. It’s not worth connecting again it’s so bad.

I am not sure if this is because of an update from my Android, or an update in the myAudi app. I used to be able to use the timer function in my Audi to charge my Etron. That function no longer works.

So the app feels like it’s designed by the windows server 2008 administrator who is afraid of using all the features because she/he doesn’t want to take responsibility if something doesn’t work. Audi collects all the data but doesn’t allow you to use any of its features. You cannot warm the seats, fold mirrors, open the trunk remotely nor start the car with the app only - you need a physical key(duuuh!). Major issue is with the app/car communication. Sending the destination address for the app to the cars works - but only sometimes. It takes me sometime 5 tries to get the address from my phone to the car Navi system (usually when I really need it). I haven’t had any previous versions of the app but Audi, if you want to compete with Tesla you need to do much better work of system integration and user interface.

Charging function is garbage as most reviews state. Used to be able to set target range now you have to manually set it in the car. Cmon guys. These cars are stupid money, and features like this App should reflect. I won’t even mention customer service hold times.
