In general, this app is working and can search the files. But it crashes every few minutes or gives error code when open the app. Could you make this app more stable? many thanks!
This is exactly what I was looking for as a file manager. They have emulated Windows explorer to some extent. I dont know why Google does not have something similar built in. The power of Windows Explorer is nowhere to be found in (un)Finder. What Google gives you for a file explorer is dismal. It’s worthy of a Toy Computer of the 80’s like Commodore 64. it is so limiting that I was pulling my hair out. I want to be able to see the directory structure on one pane and the contents on the other. I also have a choice of Thumbnails, (small, med, large) or list or whatever. This is so lacking in Finder that it is next to useless. You can’t even navigate the directory structure without going back and forth in views ! This app on the other hand does this very well albeit some missing features. The toolbar is very simplistic. You need much more than just copy, paste etc. Look at the Win10 Explorer Toolbar and see what I mean. Nevertheless this app is a preview of what Finder should have been. I just hope they will improve and add some features like Win Explorer whih is immensely more useful than “Finder”. To the reviewers whol called this “Hideous” or “Horrible UI”…well those adjectives are more appropriate for your beloved Finder that has not evolved for the past 30 years….Wake up Google this is 21st century !
I will update my reivew if the app will start opening again, but right now it it jus immediately crashes on Catalina.
Useful app to find and remove unwanted/leftover app files, especially hidden files. I am running into a bug where the app foce closes often after searching (to include hidden files) and when trying to delete those files. I’m on 10.12.6
Only selected this app since it says you can search for items that "contains". Unfortunately that only pertains to filenames.
