Blue Bikes Nola for Android

We were in town for a long weekend and didn’t rent a car. We were hesitant to use the bikes given the reviews, but figured it was worth a shot. We used them several times throughout the weekend and they worked great! Never had any issues with they app or the bikes. It was an excellent way to see the city

App is overly buggy and sluggish. Pictures don’t go through to support even with the perfect signal. Prepare to be charged a fee because I took the pictures and it never loaded hours later. The app will crash when ending the ride. Unavoidable fees

Got to give it up for this affordable and fun way to get out or get home.

Overall this app works well. As a regular user it can be frustrating to have to swipe through the ride rules every time before starting the ride. I wish there was some option to toggle that off, or only have to see it once a week or something. It also feels a bit frustrating to have to take a picture every single time you lock up the bike. A minor inconvenience most of the time but if you’re in an area with poor cell service it can add significant time waiting to make sure the photo uploads or sending an email to customer service to explain what happened. I wish there were an option for regular users to skip this step.

I felt obligated to write a review because there are so many bad reviews. These bikes are great! Very easy to use! They’re amazing if you’re a tourist looking to get from one part of town to another, if you’re hesitant, give them a go!
