Both my spouse and I have the app and it works perfectly! It provides excellent notifications, sound, visual and haptic, on your Google Watch when you move too far away from your Android. If you accidentally leave your Android at a restaurant, at work or at home, etc., the app provides the notifications before you leave the area. The app also has several nice watch complications that show the battery level of the Android. The app will also notify you when your Android battery is low! The developer is very responsive and will answer your questions or help you with issues very promptly, as he did for me. Battery gauge

After following the directions and checking all the boxes flipping all the switches I have ended up with nothing more than a phone battery meter for my watch. The only time it notifies me if the phoneIs lost is when I do a hard reboot or turn the phone off, turning off Bluetooth has no effect whatsoever. Also this thing chews through the battery life on your watch.
