Horo for Android

The app is effective except for a killer flaw: the alarm goes off for under a minute and stops. I asked the developer twice over a couple weeks about it. Even though he states an open door-type policy and the support link here goes to him, he didn't respond to questions. Due to these two things, I can't recommend this app. I'd stick to an Android timer or one that can do multiple.

Exactly what I was looking for: a simple timer app, clean minimalist UI, no frills. I like how simple it is to set up a timer. You can put in a specific time you want the alarm to go off (ex, @1:30pm), or input an amount of time for a timer (ex, 1h 30m, or 90m). Its inexplicable why Google doesnt have such a basic utility included in its OS. This is the best timer ive found and i tried a bunch before finding this one.

First no weather app on Mobile, then no timer app on Android? What are you doing Google? Fortunately Horo is here to save the day! A lot of the timer apps I saw are full fledged apps with clunky interfaces. This one however, is perfect. It's a small little interface that just sits on the status bar, no need to even open the app to check the time. One suggestion, if anything, would be to have the option to hide the timer time and show an icon instead to condense it down (or even show the time vertically with the minutes/hours above the seconds/minutes). 10/10 otherwise and I wish more people knew about this.

This is wonderful and easy to use - it fulfills exactly the need it claims to. Perfect for setting work sprints. Would love to see an ALARM feature in the future. In other words, as opposed to setting the timer for 45 minutes - being able to set an alarm for 1:30 PM with a label reminding me what I should be doing - like take my lunch break or call my doctor etc.
