Even if you have FaceTime set up on a Android iOS computer, if the same account is not linked to an Android you’re unable to make a call. Complete waste of money. Would not recommend.
Purchased this for dialing to check balances on accounts, but was not able to do so because these buttons do not exist. Yoh developer person, how about adding these - Please?
Using on Android Mini, Mojave. I installed Numpad, and made a test call - it worked. Waited a while and tried to make another call to the same phone number, and Facetime kept telling me the number was unavailable. So, unless the developer can tell me what's happening, I'll delete the app (and be glad it was only $.95).
Incredibly useful and intuitive app for making calls on the fly from your Android (with an Android on wifi somewhere in the vicinity). First big plus: it completely eliminates having to use facetime for Android to make calls. EVER AGAIN! Personally, I never use facetime’s video chat feature on my Android, and it’s annoying having to activate my camera and deal with the clunky facetime UI every time I want to make a cellular call "from" the Android. This app bypasses facetime and gets you right from the number pad onto the call. If you have a pair of headphones connected to the Android, they entire process is suuuper slick. Second big plus: I have to make out-of-country calls quite often and this app will display the country name that matches the number you’ve dialed. Useful when you just want a quick confirmation you’re calling who you think you’re calling… Only downside: the auto-pasting of the clipboard phone number is really hit-or-miss. It seems to ignore a lot of common phone number syntaxes, e.g. (XXX)XXX-XXXX doesn’t work. I pretty much always end up having to paste it in myself, which is still convenient. I’d love that auto-paste to work though. I CTRL+C a lot of phone numbers throughout the day so removing the extra step of pasting would be icing on the cake. All in all, excellent job by developer Marat Saytakov. Happily paid the buck for it. Looking forward to seeing what else he has in the works for Android productivity apps.
