Unreliable app for low-end restaurants

I’d love to love this app because I like upstart restaurants, but the app is just not reliable. Hit “order” and the app glitches to “that method of payment not accepted.” Moments later, the credit cad company approves payment. Wait for email confirmation, and none comes. Call restaurant, and they do not have the order. What do you do now? Reorder and double or triple pay? You can’t contact Toast because they have no customer service. Nope, not an Amex glitch either. Visa, too.

Terrible

App constantly logs you out, so when you go to pay you have to log in. Irritating. Developers, please, please change it so we can stay logged in.

Just bad

The app is so far behind well developed apps like UberEats and DoorDash it just doesn’t make sense. Unfortunately they’re convincing restaurants to use them exclusively - I’m guessing by lowering fees - but it’s not worth it. There’s no GPS tracking, no in app chat or help, nowhere to add delivery instructions… i’m guessing the app will be dead soon and the restaurants will come crawling back to other apps.
