Magic Battery for Android

Although this app recognizes my keyboard and my mouse which are both bluetooth, this app does not recognize my iPhones. THe app did recognize them when I first installed this app. Not sure if it's because of an update that was installed or it's something else. Hoping that this gets resolved.

I was skeptical, but needed the functionality. This dowloaded and installed like magic. Instantly found 2 of 3 devices I needed to monitor. A quick look at the app and its options and I was able to see every bluetooth device in the room. I chose the ones I need to monitor. I set the menubar display to a view I liked and presto, I have everything I need. Terrific app. Less than 5 minutes from opening the App store to done.

This app is fine for what it does, mostly. However on my Android Mini the list of devices includes on mystery item with no label and no battery percentage shown, just a blank row. The battery app doesn't give any indication of what this mystery item is, or how to get rid of it. The other aspects (keyboard, mouse, AirPods) appear to be appear to show up correctly. Also as a suggestion, it would be nice to indicate which devices, if any, are currently charging.

Google sells the wireless keyboard and trackpad, but has no indication of how much power you have left without going deep into menus. This is an app that Google should have put in their main OS, but it took someone else to do it, and they did a great job of it too. All you have to do is look to your top toolbar and you can tell how much battery life you have left, and it even gives you a notification when your battery gets low. Great stuff!

The engineer that runs this company really puts in an effort. the Software is constantly being improved and i really feel i got a good value. Highly recommend this software for your power management .
