2. Show your active ticket to the station agent, and pass through the fare gate closest to the station agent booth.

Doesn’t work on cellular

I received a $125 ticket because this app doesn’t open when on cellular most of the time. I purchased several tickets in advance and couldn’t launch the app when on the bus. Muni officer wouldn’t wait for the app to get signal and launch and wrote me a ticket. So muni got my fare and SFMTA got $125. This is also an issue reported by several users for a long time now and SFMTA doesn’t fix it. Not surprising as it probably is bringing in more money than if the app actually worked.

Very slow to open

Great App for Muni payment, love using it, however, it’s been too many times where I try to open to pay before I get on and it takes several minutes for the app to fully open, it just stays on the muni bus moving, even after restarting the app. Hope it gets fixed cause it’s a great app and very useful when you don’t have your clipper on you.

Please update app

App will not launch unless connected to WiFi. Currently on the latest iOS and can not buy tickets nor use them on the app when using cellular data.

App won’t load

The app won’t even load for me. I have an Android 13 Pro Max which is less than a year old. This is the only app I have that just straight up will not load past the initial loading screen.

Are you kidding??

This app is useless. I was hoping to find a more user friendly interface for checking muni times, but all this app does is take you to the website! It just opens a browser within the app. Not sure why this even exists because ticketing is easy enough via Google wallet and clipper card.
