Since the introduction of rare gems into the game, blitz has turned from a competitive casual game depending purely on skill to a P2W rare gem ability spam Hop into the game, grind for a few days and you will quickly notice that the gameplay feels less about matching gems now. Just a few rare gems on the board will wipe everything for millions of points, whereas purely playing the game (no powerups) will take you significantly more attempt to even hit 7 digit score Rare gems are ridiculously common its confusing for me to wonder why its even named rare in the first place. Guaranteed every game its gonna advertise a rare gem for you. They are vary in effectiveness as well, with the more powerful explosion gems being abused more in online tournaments What was once a fun timekiller turned into a wreckfest living into the shell of its former glory. The game was fun, but nowadays its obvious that this is just a power spam p2w game. Not recommended unless you dont care about multiplayer in game
