The app is seamless, but they charge you 1€ extra from parking in the pink area, which is most of Frankfurt. So even though I live close to the center, where dozens of these bikes are available all the time, If I ride within my neighborhood I will get a 1€ surcharge. The fact that I also took my bike from a pink area is irrelevant for them (shouldn’t I get a 1€ bonus for that if the argument is that those are less sought-after areas?)
If there is someone who wants to get scammed go ahead and download this crap. You pay money, it kicks you out of the account so you need to pay again to rent smth. They don’t show the balance after top up coz why would they? The interface is non-user friendly and also crap. Have a nice day devs.
Completed my account with my payment details 3 times. Every time 1€ was charged but I’m not available to rent a bike. Ridiculous
I returned the bike at an official point, which had other Nextbikes as well. I was charged 2 € for the race, but the app charged me another 26 € as if my race had lasted 2 days. Bad experience. I am waiting for my money back or I will sue this company.
