After downloading and opening this app, I found it to be beautiful, and I was excited about trying it as my main podcast app. It may just be me, but I cannot find a way to import my podcast subscriptions from my opml file. I listen to a lot if podcasts, and without being able to import my subscriptions this great looking app is absolutely useless to me. Please help
.. seems like a good app in theory but the support page doesn’t exist and i’m not sure how to execute downloading of an ep, therefore the app doesn’t function.
This app organizes my podcasts in a coherent way. I like the feed style for my episodes so I know when the newest episodes come in.
Excellent and well designed. Quick snappy interface and search functions. Suggestions: A dark theme would be welcome, but the current theme is ok. OPML import/export would be nice especially for people switching from another player. If I can be super nit picky, I’d suggest using a color other than blue for the active “tab”. An orange or red would be nice and go with your look. The blue does stand out well, but maybe it’s too much contrast. Edit: toggling download new episodes switch crashes app. Also dev support link goes to 404 page. Lowering to 4 stars because there is no other way to message developer.
I was finally able to figure out how to fix this issue on my own. So, I’m changing the rating to 5 stars. The developer would do well to update his contact information though! ********* I have an issue with Suncaster and writing a review seems to be the only way Peter Gosling (the developer) will see this. It’s fine and I like it except for the issue I have. Somehow one podcast episode has been deleted - only it still shows up in the timeline and if I tap the podcast to try to play it so that I can dismiss it, the app closes! I spent a lot of time yesterday working with the app finding the podcasts that I wanted and then going through each of them and choosing which individual podcast episodes I wanted to download and deleting the ones I didn’t. So, I don’t want to delete the app and redownload it and have to spend another 2 or 3 hours getting it back like I have it currently set up. There is no option to create an account so as to be able to save what I have set up so that I can delete the app and then redownload it and have everything still be there. I like the app as it’s easy to use but this issue is why I rated it 3 stars instead of 5. Mr. Gosling I would appreciate a response to my review giving me some information on how to resolve this. Thank you...
